ENGLISH MINTON PARIAN PORCELAIN "BABES IN THE WOODS", AFTER JOHN BELL, depicting two sleeping children with bird perched on mound, inscribed "May 5th" under base, no other markings located. Modeled after the marble original made in 1842. Circa 1850. 4 1/2" H, 6" x 11 3/4" base.
