ACL Casey Lantern - Spelled out EB Globe

Description

Atlantic Coast Line initials are stamped on the lid of this Keystone Casey frame. The frame was painted black many years ago. The twist off base comes off easily. This is not common, many freeze up with time. The wick raiser works fine, it’s not stiff at all. What makes this lantern special is the Extended base globe with ATLANTIC COAST LINE spelled out in an oval end panel. The casting is very good. There is one minor flake off of the top inside of the globe. Because it's on the inside, I assume that it is more manufacturing related than field damage. A great globe.
