Norfolk & Western Armspear Lantern Cast Globe

Item Details

Description

Armspear frame with drop in pot. The frame has N&W RY stamped on the lid. The lid latch is broken so the top pops open. This is a "wing lock" frame that has a unique snap on base assembly. Armspear and Dietz made these. The base is exceptionally clean and the 1913 patent is clear as a bell on the spring clip. The cage has a flex in one direction. The globe is a fine N&W cast in a panel a Corning Cnx hallmark.
