Pre-Columbian, South America, Ecuador, Manteno culture, ca. 500-1500 CE. This lot includes a collection of nineteen ceramic spindle whorls arranged on vertical stands. All finely formed and all but one manifest incised attractive geometric patterns. What's more, the pieces are removable and may be arranged by you to create intriguing compositions. Museum quality stands included. The largest is 2-1/8"D x 1-1/4"T.Â
