A 7-page booklet, 7.75” x 5.25”, Issued and signed in print by “Gideon Welles”, Secretary of the Navy. Sentences were issued November 29, 1864 through the month of December. Only one very small black mark in the front right hand margin of this fabulous document. This document is of interest to anyone wanting to know more about the naval punishments for desertion, drunkenness, assaulting or insulting a superior officer, and various other crimes.
