Full chronicle in a fine and clean print quality. Fully illustrated work, which includes a detailed overview of the history of the 10th century, portraying famous personalities as well as providing noble families and stalls with heraldic representations. De Roo indeed begun these annals, but after his death they were revised by the Secretary of Archduke Diezen von Weidenberg, who completed and translated it into German. The beginning of the work shows woodcuts of Archduke Ferdinand and his wife Anna Katharina. Verso with the family tree of Rudolph I. (Literature: VD17 23:320206B; Graesse VI/1, 159.)



The Chronicle is in fine to very fine condition. The sides are evenly lightly browned yet clean. At the beginning a few sheets in the bottom corner are slightly stained or waterstained. Firm print on strong laid paper.

The binding is somewhat wavy due to the vellum and browned. The back cover shows some flaws. The Capitals are slightly torn. Book block is solid and stable. Inside front cover with engraved heraldic bookplate and Alliance emblem of Nordkirchen. Above with handwritten note from 1622 by an owner from Regensburg (Ratisponensis).
