Made of sparkly red metallic material adorned with sequins and rhinestones, black velvet collar and buttons, black piping on lapels; worn by the actor when he served as "Ringmaster" in this television special that co-starred fellow A-listers such as Lucille Ball, Peter Fonda, Telly Savalas, Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, George Burns, Lynda Carter, James Earl Jones, Betty White, and Annette Funicello, among countless others; included with a "Circus of the Stars" red folder housing a related certificate issued to York as well as a color photograph of him and Cindy Williams wearing the red tailcoats; further included with a letter from Mr. York stating he consigned this lot directly to Heritage Auctions.
