FINE & LARGE LAPIS LAZULI BOX

The lid of this handsome box is applied with four highly polished matched pieces of the finest lapis lazuli, arranged to create a radiating diamond pattern of shimmering silvery pyrite clouds with soft white calcite inclusions, on a rich royal blue ground. The natural pattern is repeated in a chevron on the front of the box, which is lined with polished black onyx, with gilt interior fittings, and four hemispherical clear quartz feet, measuring 11 7/8 x 8 x 4 1/4 inches.
