Classicizing crater vase with figural handles and natural-looking patina
This bronze crater vase was probably created in in Italy in the first half of the 20th century. The cylindrical body on plain shaft stands on a slightly ascending round foot. The body is decorated with gadrooning in high relief. With surrounding, stylized, against constant lilies band on the wall. At the sides bearded Pan mascarons with ram horns as handles.
The crater vase is in good condition. The patina is slightly rubbed in some places. Its height measures 52 cm, the diameter 51 cm.
