Antique heliogravure on heavy wove paper after Auguste Trupheme. "Luncheon in a Common School, Paris", many children reside too far away to go home for luncheon, hot soup is provided in a room set aside for this purpose. This impression is well more than 120 years old. This is not a modern reprint but was hand pulled from the copper plate late 1880's. (Image size 7 3/4 x 11 1/2 inches). Double matted and framed in a solid wood moulding. Frame dimensions 15 3/4 x 19 1/2 inches. This print is in excellent condition. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
