Mexico, Colima and Guanajuato Valley, Ca 300 BCE to 200 CE. First, a Chupicuaro decorated tripod. In deep red with deeply impressed ridges along the top and three rattle legs - rattles now missing. Diamond pattern on inner rim. 5-1/2" H. Along with a Colima brownware jar. Squash-shaped olla with multiple ridges running vertically, with flared rim. 6-1/2" H.
