Description
A late 19th century 9ct gold and silver turquoise and diamond stickpin. The pear-shape turquoise cabochon, within an old-cut diamond heart-shape surround, to the old-cut diamond and diamond point coronet. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 5.5cms. Weight 1.3gms.
Condition
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with age. Some possible replacement diamonds. Turquoise is a possible replacement, blue with moderate colour saturation, even colour distribution. Some typical veining, mainly to the reverse.
