1st-3rd century AD. A carved schist frieze fragment depicting a couple seated on a bench with canopy above and floral border to the base; the male wearing an elaborate headdress and draped robe, one foot on raised stool; the female holding fruit in the right hand, nursing a baby in her left one foot on a smaller stool; small figures above the male's left shoulder and next to his right leg; mounted on a custom-made stand. 11 kg, 49cm including stand (19 1/4").
