DESCRIPTION: Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985). Lithograph in color. Moise (M.126), 1956. Under black matting in metallic frame. With Certificate of Authenticity from the Park West Gallery. Chagall was born in Belarus, but is considered a French artist due to his long residency there. He is considered to be the last survivor of the first European modernists, and is respected as the world's preeminent Jewish artist. Inspired by Cubism, Symbolism and Fauvism, he created colorful works of art, which were exhibited throughout the world during his lifetime as well as posthumously. MEASUREMENTS: 13-3/4" x 10". Overall with frame 23-7/8" x 20-1/4". CONDITION: Light wear to frame.
