The present Tissot PR 516 GL wristwatch was produced in 1970 in Switzerland. It is fitted with an automatic movement, and displays the hour, minute, second and date. The blue dial has silver hands, and the watchcase is made of stainless steel. The watch has the original black leather strap with pin buckle.



The watch comes with the original box (with slight traces of use). The case diameter is 35 mm, and the height is 12 mm. The strap is 20 cm long, and the lugs measure 19 mm. The total weight of the watch is 53 grams. The watch is in good condition, showing only minimal wear marks. During a short-term test, it was fully functional, with no guarantee on regularity and long-term precision.

Tissot

The Swiss luxury watch company Tissot from Le Locle in the Swiss canton of Neuchâtel was established in 1853 by Charles Félicien Tissot and his son Charles-Emile. Under Charles-Emile’s direction, were manufactured pocket watches with parts from Russia and the United States. In 1915, the company began producing wristwatches. Between 1920 and 1977, Tissot produced its own movements. (cko)
