This is a decoration and two commemorative medals of Russian aerospace. The decoration displays Yuri Gagarin, the first human being in space, as well as the date ‘12.IV.1961’. Verso of this star-shapes decoration are inscriptions in Cyrillic. One of the medals depicts the Sputnik 1, the first artificial earth satellite and a laurel. Verso of this medal are inscriptions in Cyrillic. The third medal shows the portrait of Valentin Glushko, the principal Soviet designer of rocket engines. Verso of this medal are a rocket, the dates 1908 and 1988 as well as inscriptions in Cyrillic.
The decoration and the two medals are in good condition with minimal abrasion of the surface. They are 29 to 46 mm in diameter.
