The rectangular Boulle ink stand with gilt bronze acanthus handle resting on spheres, with a covered reservoir directly beneath, centered by original cut-glass inkwells to either side, pen rests to front and back, drawer beneath the stand, raised on four gilt bronze beaded plinth feet.
Condition
Feet are detached from the bottom, with minor loss of gilt bronze and ebony to the corners and to lid of reservoir, otherwise with minor wear commensurate with age.
