Description
This lot is for three artifacts found at Wakemap Mound site on the Washington side of the Columbia River. Two pieces are colorful Atlatl dart points that are medium-sized arrowheads and are approximately 1-5/8 inches x 7/8 of an inch in size. The third piece is a drill made from a nice looking piece of petrified wood and is approximately 1-5/8 inches x 5/16 of an inch. These pieces are from Frank Buehler's collection and are offered to the public for the first time exactly as received. The Oregon Archaeological Society conducted many organized digs at the Wakemap Mound site in the mid to late 1950s.
