Collection of 4 hand painted tobacco and snuff boxes including tin box with scene of Revolutionary War soldiers - 2.75" x 4.5" - minor dents and chips; hand painted copper pouch with father presenting son to a young woman - 5.5"H x 2.5"W -minor dings and paint loss at edges; a round paper mache box with tavern scene depicting men playing cards and drinking and resting dog on floor - 3.25"D - small chip to interior rim otherwise very good condition and a tin oval box in original paint with yellow script motto "Trade & Commerce With All Nations" - 2.5" x 3.75" - paint chips on lid. All late 18th to early 19th century. Provenance: From the Ann Phillips collection, Verbank NY.
