A Chinese Silk Skirt,
of a grey silk and having French knot decoration, depicting peonies and Buddhist emblems, with embroidered lotus and black silk ribbon borders, together with a skirt fragment of pale silk with embroidered French knot and couched silk decoration of peonies, bats and other foliage in blue and white colors, with black ribbon borders.
Height of first 38 3/8 inches.

Condition: The complete skirt in overall good condition with minor wear, rips and tears, thread pulls and light staining. The lining ripped and stained. Lacking buttons.

The fragment with multiple small tears and losses, minor staining and wear throughout.
