Alexandria, Egypt, Ptolemaic Period, Ca 315 to 150 BCE. Molded pottery figure of Harpocrates, Egyptian God of Silence, with finger to his lips, wearing pleated robes and crown. 6-1/4" H, not including base.
Provenance: Ex Feldman collection acquired in the 1990's at Barakat Gallery, Rodeo Drive.
