PRUDHOMME SULLY: (1839-1907) French Poet, the first winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, 1901. A.L.S., with his initials S P, to one side of his personal printed visiting card, n.p. (Vaux), n.d., to Monsieur Vallery Radot, in French. The poet apologises to his colleague for the late response to their question and explains that he has been travelling away in recent days. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Prudhomme. Some light age wear, about VG €125-190
