AVIATION: A vintage Commemorative Air Mail cover issued for the National Air Races at Cleveland, 1931, individually signed by Eddie Rickenbacker (1890-1973) American Fighter Ace of World War I, James Doolittle (1896-1993) American Aviation Pioneer, Commander of the Doolittle Raiders during World War II, Frank M. Hawks (1897-1938) American Aviation Pioneer and Record Breaking Pilot and James Fitzmaurice (1898-1965) Irish Aviation Pioneer, a member of the crew who made the first successful Trans-Atlantic flight, East to West, 1928. The cover is postmarked at Cleveland, Ohio, 30th August 1931 and is signed by all four pilots in fountain pen inks with their names alone to a clear area. VG €125-190
