Description
A lot of 3 ancient ceramic vessels from the Holy Land. Lot includes an Early Iron Age juglet, c. 1000 - 800 BC, with globular body, narrow neck and loop handle, H: 4 ¾ in (12.1 cm), a Greek black-ware Krater, c. 4th - 3rd Century BC, the rounded body with narrow base, two split handles and a flared mouth, H: 3 ¾ in (8.9 cm), and a Roman juglet, c. 1st - 2nd Century AD, the ovoid body with horizontal ridges and a narrow flat base, flared mouth and single strap handle, H: 4 ¾ in (12.1 cm). The Roman juglet with few minor rim repairs, otherwise the vessels are intact with earthen deposits. Ex Orange County private collection.
