Item Details

Description

An early twentieth century silver mounted jewellery box, the oval form embossed with floral swags, with velvet covered interior and hinged pin cushion lid. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1912. Maximum length measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm).

Condition

The silver displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The material appears in poor and distressed condition, the base threadbare and would require attention. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
