Description
Roman Empire, Ca 2nd to 3rd centuries. Lovely pair of glass vials, sometimes called tear vials as these smaller jars were sometimes used to capture tears during funeral rites. One with pinched midsection, other with 4-lobes base, both with iridescent surface. 4-1/4" H.
