Early American Tall Case Clock
American (Probably New England), late 18th century. A tall case clock in pine, with an eight-day time-and-strike on bell movement, the top having a dentil-molded cornice above a dial polychrome painted with black Roman numerals on a white ground, having floral accents in the corners and a basket of flowers in the arched top, the waist with a rectangular central door flanked by fluted corner columns, the whole resting on a rectangular base with bracket feet; ht. 80.25, wd. 22.75, dp. 10 in.
