Pair of Chippendale style mahogany open armchairs or Lolling chairs, made by Southwood in Hickory, North Carolina, from the "Connoisseur" collection and custom upholstered with scrolled back, padded elbow rests on outscrolled arms raised on blind-fretwork carved square legs headed with C scroll pierced brackets terminating on Marlborough feet by a molded stretcher base.
