Next to the botanical illustration of a citrus fruit a halved grapefruit with legs and claws is to see. From its center extends a pole on which hangs a female torso like a flag. Below this scene a landscape is adumbrated with sparse lines, in which a figure stands. The graphic was created as the ninth of twelve sheets for the portfolio ‘FlorDali (Les Fruits)’, which was published in 1969/70 by WUCUA (advertising and Commerz Union Anstalt) in Vaduz.

The lithograph with drypoint and embossing is signed lower right in pencil ‘Dali’, numbered lower left in pencil ‘LXXXII/CL’. The sheet is overall stronger darkened and bears occasional tiny foxmarks. It is framed in a recto gilded frame with some signs of age and use. The sheet measures 74.5 x 55.9 cm. The framed dimensions are 78.4 x 59.3 cm.
