Description
light wood, middle brown patina, flat armless body, a proportionally large head with projecting nose, eyes and mouth marked by incisions, minor missing parts, traces of old age and weathering, base;
the accentuated sexual characteristics shall refer to the renewable forces of the big mother, the goddess of earth. The figurines often were clothed and their faces painted in red; the colour red is regarded as colour of life.
