Egypt, Late Period, ca. 600-300 BCE. Solid bronze figure of Harpocrates, the Egyptian god of youth, born from the god Isis; depicted nude, wearing the Nemes headdress, fronted with ureaus, wearing a long side lock, legs together, arms alongside legs and wearing a highly unusual and rare crown. 4"H.
Provenance: From an old Belgian estate, collected in the 1970s.
