Central Europe, Urnfield, Late Bronze Age, 1300 - 1000 BCE. A stunning example of a Bronze Age Volgriff (full grip) sword; with large center raised groove, inverted-Omega hilt, three sectioned handle, and disc pommel with raised center dome. A great balance point indicates the superb craftsmanship of this sword. Incredible green patina. 20-1/2"L
