The three-piece tea set consists of a teapot, a sugar bowl and a creamer. The pieces were manufactured ?? by the ‘The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths’ in London in 1922. The company was established in 1880 and at this time located in the Regent Street, being also active as a jeweler, retailer of diamonds and precious stones as well as watchmaker. All pieces feature a simple, flat oval corpus with egg and dart rim on the edges. The handles have thumb notches in the form of acanthus leaves. The lid of the teapot has a rectangular knob and a perfectly fitting hinge.

The pieces are each hallmarked with ’THE GOLDSMITHS & SILVERSMITHS / COMPANY Ld / 112 REGENT STREET. W’, the London city mark, the date letter g (1922) and the silver standard mark on the underside. They are in good condition, showing light wear. The sugar bowl is gilt inside. The dimensions of the teapot are approx. 16 x 29 x 20 cm, the sugar bowl measures circa 7 x 20 x 15 cm, and the creamer is about 10 x 16 x 10 cm in size. The total weight of all pieces is about 1600 grams.
