China/Mongolia, 18th/19th century
On a rectangular stepped foot
Inspired by archaic bronze vessels, in the form of HU vases
Richly decorated body with tendrils and floral ornaments
Open work jade carvings
At the front celadon colored butterflies and Chilong dragons on the sides
The neck is flanked by mask handles with jade rings in the mouth
Rectangular lid with a knob in the form of playing Fo lions
Height with cover: 36.5 cm
