SEWING STAND - Choice Aesthetic Movement Fancy Sewing Stand in walnut and burl walnut, the elaborately molded and stepped square hinged top with canted corners, concealing a compartment with compartmented removable tray, the body with canted sides having bull's-eye medallions, supported by carved and canted legs with lion head tops at corners of case, supported by lower incurved platform having large finial, raised on four splayed legs ending in cloven hooves. Second half of 19th c. 31 1/2" tall, 14 1/2" square. Very good condition.
