Description
ENGLISH AND GERMAN POTTERY TEAPOTS, LOT OF TWO, comprising an Arthur J. Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire low ovular form with domed cover, with scalloped foot and collar, strap handle and straight spout, printed and painted in the "Iris" pattern, in Art Nouveau style. Printed marks to underside; and a Mettlach Villeroy & Boche squat globular form with domed cover and scrolling strap handle, red line rims and borders, bracketing a band of "Poppies." Brown printed marks to underside. Circa 1907 and later. 6 3/4" H.

Condition
The first in good condition, tip of spout chipped and replaced with fill. Some visible crazing. Some crazing to interior. The second in moderate condition with visible crazing, and visually appealing, but with heat-crack around the perimeter of the lower edge, as well multiple tiny chips to spout.
