ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY IRONSTONE AND FIGURAL ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising an octagonal-panel-molded footed tureen and cover, with impressed registry mark and numeral panel, and two Staffordshire flatback figural groups. The first, a Highland Lad and Lass, with a stylized tree-trunk, harp and sheep between them, the second an ink-stand and q0uill set, in the form of a tulip, with a scroll-molded rectangular base, the stem of the tulip centering a watch face, with two cupids bearing a ring and a dove seated below, and a tulip at the very top. The figures unmarked. Circa 1840-1860. 11 1/2" HOA, the tureen 8 3/8" H, 8 1/2" W.

Condition
The tureen in very good condition with a small chip to the flange of the interior body, Some crazing to the highland figure, with a crack to the back. The tulip and left hand figure broken and glued back on, professionally, and repainted. Chip to rim of tulip.
