AN UNUSUAL ORIENTAL JIZHOU STYLE CERAMIC VASE, with a garlic mouth and decorated to the sides with blossoming branches of prunus reserved on a lustrous black ground, the shoulders with a six-character mark in blue reserved on a white ground, the base unglazed and bearing an exhibition label for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition held in San Francisco in 1915, 11.8in high.
