Buckminster Fuller Book & Letters. Four page handwritten letter, signed April 1957. In reply to an architect in Berkeley, Fuller gives a detailed description of the construction of a plywood geodesic dome. Interestingly the prosepctive client was Ernest Callenbach who later wrote Ecotopia the influential futurist environmental book. Also included: a copy of the original letter to Fuller, A brochure for Plydomes a company licensed by Fuller. Four blueprints of domes drawn by Fuller's students. A pencil drawn plan for a dome structure (unsigned). Two small Black & White photos of domes. Several clippings about Geodesic domes. An interesting archive from an important period when Fuller was actively developing dome construction.
