Description
We are proud to offer this excellent vintage Roseville Pottery vase, in the form of a beautiful, properly impressed Roseville #196-8 inch, 1945 Freesia Line dual handled bulbous pedestal vase. Our example features lovely yellow sprigs, and the colors and dynamic mold definition of this vase are just outstanding. Although over 45 separate forms were produced, history records that many of these were not original to the Freesia line, but were instead part of the original Roseville Garden line ca. 1900. Freesia pottery is always impressed with the Roseville U.S.A. and the style numbers. The Freesia Line featured a combination of 3 different blossoms, in white, yellow, and Lavender, all set on either Tropical Green to Dark Green, Sky Blue to Royal Blue, or Terra Cotta to Dark Brown base (as is ours). This gorgeous vase weighs 2# and measures 6.75 x 6.75 x 8.25 inches tall.
