Piranha (1978) Piranha Skull Prop - When "Jaws" blew the top off the box office, everyone was rushing to grab a bit of the "monsters from the deep" craze. One of the first to come out came from the "King of copying a hit", Roger Corman, who rushed in production and then onto the screens, "Piranha" (1978), directed by Joe Dante and co-written by John Sayles. In this version, instead of a beach resort, it's a mountain summer resort with piranhas accidently released into the resort's rivers with obvious results. However, say what you want, the film was a massive success, and created a slew of sequels. This is a latex reproduction of the skull of a piranha used in the production. Approx 3"x5".
