This lot comprises three bottles of 1997 vintage Château Trotanoy from the Pomerol appellation in Bordeaux.
Pomerol is along with Saint-Émilion one of the best-known and most popular appellations on the right bank of the Gironde. In contrast to Médoc, the most widely used grape variety here is Merlot. The wines are more elegant and can be enjoyed sooner than the Cabernet Sauvignon blends but most do not have the same aging potential.
The 1997 vintage Trotanoy was rated 89 points by Robert Parker in 2000. It was given the same score by James Suckling for Wine Spectatr in the same year.
The fill levels are excellent (high fill). The labels and capsules are in perfect condition.
