Description
Two late 19th century gold gem-set stickpins, to include a 9ct gold diamond point circular panel stickpin, together with an 18ct gold green beryl stylised buckle stickpin. Lengths 7.6 and 6.5cms. Weight excluding stopper 6.5gms. One with associated case.
Condition
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Significant scratches to the reverse of the first. Later replacement stopper. Possible replacement pins. Evidence of modification to the second, possibly converted to a stickpin, minimal soft solder to the reverse. Gemstones fairly well matched, fair to good condition with nicks. Due to the nature of the diamond point it is not possible to calculate a diamond weight. Estimated diamond spread weight 0.01ct, which is no indication of the actual diamond weight.
