Piece of Russian renowned sculptor,Sergey Eylanbekov. Polychrome or painted antique cream male nude torso ,concrete on steel shank with concrete square gold painted base. Extremely detailed with signature on the back lower right,"S Eylanbekov". Slight wear in a few areas to the cream paint as seen in the photos,otherwise excellent condition. Starting in bronze,he discovered and perfected many forms of acrylics in the early nineties. Born in 1960,the prestigious artist was admitted at age 13 to the Moscow School of Fine Art and at 17 to the Moscow Surekov Academy of Fine Art ,one of two of the most prestigious art schools in the entire Soviet Union. His pieces are seen in museums and galleries worldwide. After the Russian government closed his studio in the eighties,he came to America to sculpt and has gained acceptance and awards to organizations usually given to artists much older than himself.
