This is the first German edition of all sermons by Wilhelm von Segaud that were held before the French King Louis XV and in Paris. All six parts in three volumes.

Volume 1: 12 leaves, 512 numbered pages, 2 leaves, 524 numbered pages; Volume 2: 2 leaves, 444 numbered pages, 2 leaves, 538 numbered pages; Volume 3: 2 leaves, 442 numbered pages, 3 leaves, 436 numbered pages. Complete.
Condition
In very good condition. The paper is remarkably clean and almost stainless. Some old ownership entries on pastedowns.
Bindings
Three original pigskin bindings over wooden boards. Boards with rich roll-tooling. Center panels on front and rear board with decorative elements in corners and center ornamentation. Each volume with two intact brass clasps. Bindings just slightly rubbed, corners slightly scuffed. Book blocks and bindings firm and stable. Each with four raised bands and three blue edges. Dimensions of folio volumes: 20 x 13.5 x 6 cm.
