This set comprises seven sundaes that were created after a design by Manfred Heintze in 1960 for the Institute of Design. The conical shape of the foot is repeated in the form of the cup, foot and bowl are colored differently in beige and gray, contrasting one another.



The cups are each provided on the underside with the brand ‘WISCO’ and are overall in very good condition with only minor signs of age and wear. Its height measures 13.5 cm.



Manfred Heintze (1934-1985)

Manfred Heintze was born in Liebertwolkwitz in 1934. In the early 1950s he began to train as a goldsmith and after that studied from 1953-56 at the School of Applied Arts in Heiligendamm. In the 1960s and 70s, he worked at various institutes, including the Institute for Technical Design as well as at the Central Institute of Art and Design in Halle in the mechanical engineering department and also in the department of Industrial Design.
