Edward Herbert Barnard (American, 1855-1909)
Edward Herbert Barnard was born in Belmont, Massachusetts in 1855. He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. From 1885 to 1889, he studied in Paris at the Academie Julian with Gustave Boulanger and Jules Lefebvre. His works have been exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Boston Art Club and the National Academy of Design.
