Roman Empire, found in western Turkey, Ca 1st to 3rd centuries CE. Thin glass cup on short foot, corseted body, small thread of glass draped around midsection. 4.13"W x 3.00"H (10.48 W x 7.62 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Collection of William Dale. Mr. Dale was a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures.
