Roman Empire, found in western Turkey, Ca 1st to 3rd centuries CE. Tall and very beautiful light green glass unguent with bell-shaped base, long thin neck and flat rolled rim. 7.25"W x 2.50"H (18.42 W x 6.35 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Collection of William Dale. Mr. Dale was a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures.
