Montegrappa Tertio Millennio Adveniente Limited Edition fountain pen. Number 1132 of 1912. Created for the celebration of the Jubilee and inspired by Bernini’s designs in Saint Peter’s Cathedral, it features low-relief engraving, enameling, and die-casting. The barrel and cap are made of pearlized celluloid and .925 sterling silver and feature an image from Bernini’s “Le Grazie.” The inset papal red carnelian in the cap and the clip adorned with St. Peter’s key symbolize the Papal States. Two-toned 18k rhodium-plated broad nib with engraved dove. New and un-inked in box with papers. Presentation box in shape of a column section with a glass representation of “Le Grazie.” Box is approximately 14” x 14” x 7”.
